Sadness by ~
scathode All the statues in this series evoke human emotion, but I was drawn to this one in particular. From the smoothness of the glass, to the color chosen, the expression of the face and the posture of the hands, this glass sculpture personifies sadness. (

Imaginative, yet it has this slight tinge of sorrow to it. I'm just amazed by the lighting and tone and contrasts, but what I love about this the most is, it has this captivating way of making you want to cry as well. You sort of feel the sadness of the object. It's like a spear making your heart turn soft all of a sudden. Very beautiful.
